On September 19, MCERC hosted Kazakh and Uzbek youths from the Central Asia, those who visited Georgia for a 5-day study visit. The chairwoman Mariam Gersamia talked about effects of disinformation and challenges, media psychology and media literacy. The meeting was hosted in the University of Georgia.
The visit was funded by USAID and implemented by the Central Asia Eurasia Foundation. The visit was carried out within the framework of the "Social Innovations in Central Asia" project. The purpose of the visit is to share knowledge and experience in the following areas: Management of social projects and planning and implementation of communication campaigns on topics such as human rights, inclusion, equality, social entrepreneurship, leadership, volunteering, media projects, gender, youth activities, and legal status of other vulnerable groups.
