Our Mission is to educate and support journalists for empowering media and strengthening democracy.

"Media Voice" is a Non-enterpreneurial (Non-commercial) Legal Entity, acting in accordance with the Constitution of Georgia, laws, and Charter. Center  was founded in 2015 and “Media Voice - Europe” was established in Estonia in 2024.​

Both non-governmental organizations aim to support the development of the media and mass communication field through the creation of new knowledge and educational research activities, in cooperation with academia and other stakeholders. The NGOs seek to raise awareness of media literacy and to bolster the introduction and strengthening of democratic values within civil society. Additionally, the organizations provide advisory services in areas such as media psychology, public relations, media law, and mass communication, facilitating the transfer of interdisciplinary knowledge at the national, regional, and international levels. ​

The managing bodies of the are Founders, General assembly, Administration / Governing Board, and Chair. The Founder and Chairwoman of "Meida Voice" is prof. Mariam Gersamia, Executive Director - Teona Tskhomelidze.

The source of the organization's income includes donations (with in-kind contributions forming the majority of the income), grants, income from economic and other legally permitted activities, funds obtained through loans/credit, and other income as provided by law.

Media Voice is a member of the Media Freedom Coalition Consultative Network (MFC-CN), a global alliance dedicated to preserving and promoting media freedom. In 2024 Media Voice joined The Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) - the largest global community for media development, media freedom, and journalism support. In 2025 Media Voice joined the civil society coalition of the Forum on Information and Democracy.
